FULL ONE YEAR WARRANTY ON WATER HEATER
Forone year from the date of purchase, whenyour SearsKenmore water heater is installedand operated in
a siugle-familyresidence in accordancewith the instructions in this manual, Searswill:
1. Repair defects in material or workmanship in this water heater, free of charge.
2. Furnish and install a new current model water heater of equal capacity and quality, free of charge, ifa
leak occurs in the tank.
LIMITED WARRANTY ON TANKS THAT LEAK
After one year and through 6 years from the date of purchase for water heaters used in a single-family
residence, if a leak occurs in the tank, Sears will furnish a new current model water heater of equal capacity
and quality. You will be charged for any installation.
Ifthe water heater is subjected to commercial, institutional, industrial or use in residencesof two families or
more, the abovewarranty coveragefor tanks that leak is effectivefor 2 yearsfrom the date ofpurchase.

onlywhile this product is in use in the United States."
This warranty givesyou specificlegal rightsand you may alsohave other rights which vary from state to

used in a singhffamily residence and is installed and operated in accordance with the information in this
manual, ifa part fails due to a materials or workmanship, Sears will furnish a replacement part free of
charge. You will be charged for labor.
If the water heater is subjected to commercial, institutional, industrial or use in residences of two families or
more, the above warranty coverage for tanks that leak is effective for 2 years from the date of purchase and
the above parts warranty is effective for I year from the date of purchase.
